Often referred to as “little Paris”, Recoleta is located within walking distance to many of the city’s attractions including the world famous Cemeterio de Recoleta; final resting place of some of the country’s most celebrated residents including Eva Peron and her family. Recoleta's Plaza de Francia comprises some 15,400 square meters of local flora surrounded by cultural centers and the largest outdoor handicrafts fair in the city, La Feria de Recoleta, which takes place every Sunday.

Recoleta Institute is in the very heart of Recoleta and occupies part of the historical presidential manor of Carlos Pellegrini, who presided over the country at the turn of the century during the Golden Era of Buenos Aires.
